Maybe she was cut from her school team. Maybe another club didn't work out. Maybe she missed earlier tryouts or simply hasn't found the right volleyball home.
Empower Volleyball still has opportunities for girls 12U–17U.
Final evaluations are Saturday, August 22 in West Columbia.

WHAT HAPPENS AT EVALUATIONS?
No pressure. No five-day tryout. Just an opportunity to show us what she can do. 🏐
Final evaluations are designed to give our coaches a chance to meet your player, see where she is in her volleyball development, and determine which Empower team may be the best fit.
1. COME READY TO PLAY
Players will participate in volleyball drills covering skills such as passing, serving, setting, hitting, movement, and court awareness.
2. LET US GET TO KNOW HER
We’re evaluating more than perfect technique. We’re also watching effort, attitude, coachability, communication, and willingness to learn.
3. FIND THE RIGHT FIT
After evaluations, we’ll determine whether we have an available team opportunity that fits your player’s age and current skill level.

Mistakes are part of volleyball. We want to see how she responds, how she works, and how willing she is to learn.

You don't need to know anyone, have played for Empower before, or have attended one of our previous tryouts. Final evaluations are open to new players.
HER SEASON ISN’T OVER. 🏐
Getting cut can hurt. Missing a team can make an athlete question whether she should keep going.
But one “no” doesn’t have to be the end of her volleyball story.
At Empower, we believe there is value in giving athletes another opportunity—to compete, develop their skills, build confidence, and continue playing the sport they love.
If she still wants to play, we’d love the opportunity to meet her.
